"Xanadu" is a mythological ideal place and society, like "Utopia" which means "nowhere" in Latin. In other words, it doesn't exist, Eden is gone: this is why we use "eX".
As long as there are imperfect people, there will not be a perfect society or world. But that does not mean we should stop trying: the place to start is with oneself, not with others.
